How to Chair Your Meetings With Good Results

The aim of this training course is to make you a good chairman. The course is a real hands-on training in all skills needed to make your meetings effective and satisfying. Main subjects are preparation of meetings, writing the agenda and summons, chairing the meeting, dealing with conflicts and writing the minutes.

And if conflict or bad feeling arises, you will know how to make it possible to move on. You will be able to take notes whilst listening to the discourse. And if no-one else is prepared to take the minutes – you will be. The meetings you arrange are designed to suit the content: some take place around the table according to tradition, but you can also arrange creative processes, evaluation of teamwork, network meetings etc.

The course in Meeting Skills alternates between short theoretical introductions and a variety of presentation exercises. You get the opportunity to test yourself in a small, manageable group. Your deliberations will receive feedback both from the instructor and your fellow participants.
